FWiW: For What it’s Worth

To all my friends, old an new, this is the main place to start. I’ve tried this before. The first edublog died in a terrible iLife update a few years back. The second in the great .mac end. So here I am again, getting ready to make it all available to those of you who would like to take the time to read. I’ve populated the site with previous posts in the hopes that some of it is worth going back and reading. Be patient - this is a work in progress.

This site links you to all of the my others; it’s the one that provides you with materials and references, the one where I reflect on education, leadership and learning. There are broken links to files I am slowly restoring - be patient with me. If you follow all the threads it’s a mashup of my professional and my personal life. I invite you to and hope you participate in this journey and learning experience.

My ideas, observations, and thoughts about education and learning (and a bit about life).
quote: “If we value independence, if we are disturbed by the growing conformity of knowledge, of values, of attitudes, which our present system induces, then we may wish to set up conditions of learning which make for uniqueness, for self-direction, and for self-initiated learning.”
~ Carl Rogers
